A Japanese company created a series of Emoji in the year of 1990. These small and digital icons are used billions of times by people to express their ideas or emotion in a funny and imagined way. With the increasing use of emoji by people, the company of Apple help to bring the emoji into IOS system. After that, digital language has become an irreversible trend on social media. People use emoji regularly to comment or post creative content on platforms like Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

4. Budweiser used the emoji of firework, flag, and beer to make up an American flag, which posted on the Twitter. And this post got 152025 retweets and 113507 favorites. Brands used emoji to do advertisements on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter can get feedback immediately. Unlike the original ways of advertising on social media, emoji advertising attracts younger generation and can save money on advertising.    


5. The Coca-Cola company is passing joy by Emoji expression, which they registered all Emoji face as websites. When consumers enter these URL on their mobile phone, it will automatically transfer to the Coca-Cola Puerto Rico's website. The manager of Coca-Cola Puerto Rico's told us that the customers of Coca-Cola like to access their official website on the mobile phone. Especially the younger generation of consumers, who seem emoji as their second language. Therefore, combining emoji with the official website can make a better connection between consumers and Coca-Cola company.
